Red Cross Opens Shelters for Power Outages
The Finger Lakes New York Region of the American Red Cross has opened four shelters in Wayne and Monroe County in response to the power outages throughout the area.
There is one shelter in Monroe County at the Webster Recreation Center, while three are located in Wayne County.
In addition the Red Cross is collaborating with the fire departments of Williamson, Wolcott, Ontario and Savannah to hand out water and other supplies to homes without power.
