Lawsuit Brought Against Perry Public Library
The lawyer for several residents in the Village of Perry has confirmed to YNN that he has filed a lawsuit against the Perry Public Library.
Attorney Arthur Giacalone says the lawsuit will attempt to halt construction of a blacktop parking lot that the library wants to place on adjoining property.
The library bought the property and tore down several buildings on it back in June.
Protesters claim there are Revolutionary War veterans buried on the land. They also say the library was granted several unlawful variances by Village officials.
