If you have any unused or expired prescription drugs around the house, Friday there's an opportunity to safely get rid of them.
Monroe County is holding a special pharmaceutical waste collection event at RIT.
Drugs collected are properly destroyed under professional supervision.
Friday's event runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lot H of the RIT Campus, off of Jefferson Road.
