Man Found Guilty of Murder and Robbery
A guilty verdict Friday in the case of a man accused of robbing and killing a Greece man back in October 2011.
Sharad Jiles, 29, was found guilty of robbery and second degree murder.
Police say Jiles shot and killed Sheldon Hepburn during a robbery attempt at a Peckham Street home in October of last year. During the robbery attempt, police say Jiles shot Hepburn four times.
Hepburn was able to run from the house and collapsed a short time later near Hudson Avenue. He later died at Rochester General Hospital.
Jiles faces twenty five years to life in prison when sentenced December 6th.
