No Injuries in Lake Avenue Fire

Firefighters were called to a Lake Avenue home Sunday evening after a fire broke out in the basement.
Damage to the multi-unit home was contained primarily to the basement with minor smoke and water damage to the first and second floors.
It took crews just under 30 minutes to control the fire, and two people were assisted from the second level. No injuries were reported.
