More information is coming out about what former Greece Police Chief Merritt Rahn could be doing when he is released from prison, which could be as early as December 19th. The New York State Parole Board released the transcript of Rahn's parole hearing from last week.

In the transcript, Rahn told the board he already has five job offers and before he was in prison, had a remodeling business. He says he has several remodeling jobs lined up in addition to his job offers.

In July 2010, Rahn was sentenced to up to five years in prison after being convicted for falsifying a background check for former officer Gary Pignato and trying to cover up a DWI hit and run crash involving former Greece Sergeant Nick Joseph.

According to the transcript, once Rahn is released, he will have to undergo substance abuse testing, abide by a curfew and have no contact with Pignato or Joseph.

Rahn apologized to the board and says he is remorseful for what he did and admits what he did was a terrible way to end a 42-year career in law enforcement.

He has served 28 months of his sentence and will be under supervised parole for two and half years.
