A car crashed into the garage doors of the East Pembroke Fire Hall on Thursday afternoon.
State Police say the driver of the car missed a curve, hit a ditch, and went airborne before crashing into the garage doors of the fire hall.
The woman driving the car was taken to the Erie County Medical Center but police say she sustained only minor injuries.
"By what we know so far, is that she was blacked out at the wheel, she had passed out. Yes, some type of medical emergency," said Trooper Mark Catanzaro.
The East Pembroke Fire Hall will be shut down to extensive damage to the building. The fire department will move to a temporary location and remain in limited service will the fire hall is repaired.
