Car Crashes into West Side Building
A car crashed into a building causing major damage on Rochester's west side Friday morning.
Police say two cars were traveling East on West Main Street when a car in the right lane turned left, cutting off another car in the left lane.
It happened around 7:20 a.m. Friday.
To avoid the car, the 70-year-old driver swerved, first hitting the car, then crashing into the front of the building that houses the teen program "In Control." The building suffered extensive damage.
Both drivers had minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals.
The 28-year-old female driver of the first vehicle is being charged with a moving violation.
