The Bay Knoll Church sponsored a free Thanksgiving dinner for people in need Sunday afternoon.
Families gathered at the church on Ridge Road to enjoy a hot holiday turkey with traditional sides.
The community service committee says it hopes to make this an annual event.
Plans are in the works for a Christmas dinner next month.
