Fan found dead was ejected from stadium for disorderly conduct
The Buffalo Bills have confirmed a fan who died outside Ralph Wilson Stadium last week had been ejected from Thursday's game for disorderly conduct.

David Gerken Jr., 26, of Palmyra, was fonud dead early Friday in a creek at the bottom of a ravine behind the stadium. Police called it an accidental drowning.

The team released a statement Tuesday saying Gerken was ejected about 9:55 p.m. Thursday, near halftime of the Bills' win over Miami. He was to meet up with friends and family at a nearby after the game but never showed up.

The team did not specify whether alcohol was involved.

The statement said, in part:

"Disorderly conduct includes various forms of misbehavior. We continue to review the circumstances surrounding this particular ejection. Mr. Gerken was one of 94 fans ejected from that game."

"Our review of this incident is ongoing, and we continue to cooperate with law enforcement during its investigation.”

Gerken's funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church in Canandaigua.
