Three hundred families in Rochester's northeast quadrant are receiving a gift this Thanksgiving – a turkey and all the trimmings.
A number of businesses in the northeast neighborhood, along with City Council President Lovely Warren, worked together to make these Thanksgiving meals possible.
"A number of years ago, I had a resident who said, you know, it's really some rough times out here. I think that instead of giving holiday cards if you could help with a meal, that would be great," Warren said.
Warren says this is the fourth year for the holiday donation.
