Man Pleads Guilty to Tax Evasion
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A Rochester man pleaded guilty Wednesday to tax evasion.
The Monroe County District Attorney's office says David Alexander, 60, failed to file tax returns on an estimated $3.9 million of income from 2001 to 2007. According to the plea, Alexander will be required to pay nearly $263,000 in back taxes to New York State. He'll also spend up to four months in jail and be on probation for five years when he's sentenced January 14th.
