CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. -- An unruly passenger on a plane earlier this week has been identified as a member of the Buffalo Bills.

The NFTA confirms Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin was on a Delta flight from LaGuardia to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport when he was repeatedly asked to turn off his cell phone and to place his bag in the overhead compartment. The NFTA says McKelvin refused to follow those instructions, and at some point there was an incident with the flight crew.

McKelvin was met at the gate by NFTA Police, who issued him a notice of violation for interfering with a flight crew, which carries a $75 fine. McKelvin was not arrested or detained.
