Two Teens Seriously Hurt in Crash

MEDINA, N.Y. -- Two teenagers were seriously hurt after the car they were in crashed into a tree.

Medina Fire officials say the crash happened on State Street about 12:40 Sunday morning.

An 18-year-old man who was driving had to be extracted from the car.

He was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC with serious injuries.

Two passengers were also injured.

A 14-year-old boy was flown to Women's and Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

A 16-year-old girl was taken to Medina Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Medina Police and the Orleans County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
