Vacuum Saleswoman and Boss Accused of Stealing Elderly Woman's Jewelry
Police in Livingston County say a door-to-door vacuum saleswoman and her employer are charged with stealing and covering up the theft of jewelry from a Livonia woman.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff's Office, 34-year old Yolanda Gadsby of Webster is charged with petit larceny, tampering, and obstruction.

Investigators say Gadsby stole jewelry from an elderly victim while on the job. She then allegedly pawned the jewelry.

On Monday, deputies charged her boss, 44-year old Daniel Bierworth of North Chili, with tampering, obstruction, and criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies say he tried to recover the stolen jewelry and cover up the theft.

Gadsby made bail and Biersworth is being held in the county jail. Both are due back in court at a later date.
