Unused CSX Bridges to Be Torn Down
Three bridges in the Town of Ogden and the Village of Spencerport will be torn down.
Senator Charles Schumer announced the agreement by CSX to remove three abandoned railroad bridges.
The three bridges are located on Union Street, Manitou Road, and Washington Street. All haven't been used for decades.
Schumer says the bridges are unsafe and obstruct traffic in the business district.
CSX hopes to start the demolition projects next year.
