A group of teen leaders held a multi-cultural potluck Friday to celebrate diversity with the community.

Citizen U is a program that focuses on college and career preparation and personal development for Rochester teens.

The potluck was held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County Auditorium with entertainment from local colleges and groups, as well as a dance group from New York City.

"It's a day of celebration of different cultures and countries that are represented here in Rochester, and we actually have a very diverse population of youth that we are working with 1 to 1 as well," said Aylin Erdogan, West Side Youth Engagement Coordinator.

Each guest was asked to bring a dish to pass with enough food to feed five people, or a donation of $5.
