Shooting on Weaver Street
Rochester police are investigating a shooting from early Sunday morning.
An officer responding to an alert from the city's ShotSpotter system heard gunfire in the area of Weaver Street around 4:30 A.M.
A short time later, a man in his early 20s turned up at Rochester General Hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
Police say he suffered non-life threatening injuries.
