Red Kettle Campaign Meets Halfway Point
The Salvation Army's 2012 Red Kettle Campaign is just past the halfway mark and more than halfway towards its monetary goal.
The Salvation Army has raised nearly $319,000 out of the $560,000 that the campaign is aiming for. More than 7,800 volunteers have signed up to ring the bell, out of the 10,000 volunteer goal.
The Salvation Army says several community groups have signed up to help ring, including first area responders, government representatives and professional athletes. A different group is booked every day through the end of the campaign.
The Red Kettle campaign runs through Christmas Eve, so keep on donating!
