Sheriff's deputies say Jean White, 59, was heading north on Brewer Road in the Town of Waterloo just before 6 p.m. Thursday when she failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Route 96.

Her car was struck by a pickup truck driven by Stephen Lansing, 70.

White had to be cut out from her car. She was airlifted to Strong Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Lansing and his 11-year-old and nine-year old passengers were all treated and released at the scene.
