Drugs, Illegal Gun Found By Police During Traffic Stop in Webster
Police in Webster arrested three people over the weekend on drug charges.
Nico Cassata of Rochester, 20; Hailee Winston of Palmyra, 19; and Tiffany Backus, 19, of Newark were arrested Sunday following a traffic stop on Ridge Road. Winston was charged with DWI.
Police say a search of the car uncovered an illegal handgun and multiple illegal drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana.
Cassata, Winston and Backus face numerous drug charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance. Cassata was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
