A kindergartener in Genesee County got an early Christmas present Thursday morning.
Hasan Armstrong is a student at Jackson Elementary School in Batavia.
Hasan had a surprise visitor at the school's Holiday Happening Kindergarten Concert. His father, Corporal Haven Armstrong, arrived early Thursday morning to surprise him, after serving a year in Kuwait.
"It meant everything just to come here and see him for the first time, I didn't know there would be that many people. I wanted to surprise him at school, he didn't know I was coming. It's been a long year," said Haven.
Corporal Haven Armstrong is in the Army National Guard.
