State Police arrested Mario Carlenius for the November 30th crash. His charges include aggravated vehicular assault, reckless driving, and aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Troopers say Carlenius' blood alcohol content was .19. That's twice the legal limit.

Police say motorists noticed him driving south in the northbound lane of 590. Four troopers followed his car, but could not get him to stop. He slammed head on into a car driven by Stanislav Dutchak. Dutchak is in guarded condition at Strong Hospital.
