Ryan Callahan of the New York Rangers visited his old school, Hilton High School, on Friday. The visit was made possible by the ongoing NHL lockout.
Callahan graduated from Hilton High School in 2003. His visit included a meet and greet where he showed off his Olympic silver medal from the 2010 games.
"The last time I was here was probably the last day of senior year. I haven't been back in quite a while, so it's nice to get back here and see the new building, all the changes they've made, and see some of my old teachers and stuff," Callahan said.
Callahan also met with the Varsity Athletes Leadership Council to talk about leadership skills and answer questions.
