Family and Friends Remember Adam Chase

An Ontario County community came together to remember a Stanley man who was discovered murdered more than a week ago. Family and friends of Adam Chase held a candlelight vigil in front of his home Sunday night.
For every candle lit a tear was shed.
The loss of 31-year-old Adam Chase left friends and family devastated.
"He's missed a lot," said Heather Skyner, Chase family friend.
Police charged Adam's wife Rose Chase with second degree murder. Police say she pushed her husband down two flights of stairs in their Stanley home causing his death then dismembered and hid is body.
"There were suspicions and we'll let justice prevail," said Jason Skyner, Chase family friend. "She has to face the Lord. That will be her final judgement."
Sunday night a cross and candles were laid in the front yard Adam's home. Dozens of family and friends stood together sharing memories and lending support.
"We see there was a lot of people that cared about my brother and we can't thank them enough," said Jessica Chase, Adam's Sister.
The Chase family says this is a sight even Adam would be pleased with.
"He would be smiling right now. He knows he has a lot of love from a lot of people," said Jessica.
Adam is described as a great man who had an even greater impact on his community.
"Can't believe how many friends he had. He was a lucky man to have so many friends. We appreciate them coming out and the help they have given us," said Lindon Chase, Adam's Dad.
Friends and family are accepting donations for Rose and Adam's five year old son.
Donations are being accepted until 2 o'clock on Christmas Eve in Geneva,
at Mike Barnard Chevy Buick on Routes 5 and 20.
