Firefighters Respond Quickly to Sander Street Fire
City firefighters responded quickly Wednesday to a house fire on Rochester's northeast side.
Firefighters responded to a home on Sander Street, where flames were shooting from the third floor. There was concern initially that someone was inside, but no one was home when the fire broke out.
Firefighters brought the flames under control within minutes of arrival. No one was hurt.
Three adults live in the home. They are being cared for by the Red Cross.
No word yet on the cause.
