Proposed Merger Between Two Charter Schools
The Rochester City School Board is conducting a public meeting on Thursday, January 10th, to gather feedback on a proposed merger of two existing charter schools.
The idea is to form one non-profit corporation, called the True North Rochester Preparatory Charter School. It would combine True North's Educational corporation with its West Educational Campus corporation.
If approved, the charter school would serve more than 500 students.
The board is hoping the merger can take place in July.
