7.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Alaska
A strong earthquake hit Alaska early Saturday morning.

The U.S Geological Survey has reported that a 7.6 magnitude earthquake stuck about 60 miles west of Craig, Alaska.

The quake occurred at 4 a.m. Eastern Time, which would have been midnight in Alaska.

The warning area extends for just under 500 miles and the Tsunami Center had said that widespread dangerous coastal flooding is possible.

No injures have been reported.
