A woman is being charged with making a false written statement after she returned a puppy she received as a gift.
Catherine Anthony, 53, of Naples, took the nine-week old Jack Russel to the Humane Society and filled out paperwork claiming the puppy was a sick stray.
Anthony was arrested after the Humane Society found the pup to be in good health.
