The Distillery donated 20% of all its sales at its four locations yesterday to the families with a goal of $10,000 in donations. Director of Operations Randy Slifer said the restaurant chain brought in more than that on Tuesday.

"We all were glued to the TV December 24th and watched that senseless tragedy unfold. All of us were affected by it regardless of where you live in the community. The next day Peter, the president and I got together and decided that we really wanted to do something via The Distillery. We've been part of the community since 1980 and it really affected all of us," said Randy Slifer, Director of Operations for The Distillery.

The Burger King in Webster is running a similar fundraiser.
