Parker says 2012 was a good year in and around Rochester, but especially in the Finger Lakes Region. She expects more of the same in 2013.

"I think we're certainly going to see continued job growth among all sectors and I think that's the thing that's probably the most heartening, is it's not any one particular area that we're seeing growth in. We are seeing growth and explanation in the manufacturing area. Health care and education have always been the growth engine for us, but we're looking at small employers continuing to expand, so pretty much across the board we're going to see some explanation," Parker said.
