Police Look for Man Suspected in Avenue D Shooting
Police in Rochester are looking for the suspect in a shooting Wednesday night. It happened at 116 Avenue D around 8:40 p.m.
The victim, 28-year-old Arturo Cabrera, told police he was walking when the suspect approached him and they started talking. Cabrera said that's when the suspect shot him in the lower torso and fled the area.
Cabrera was transported to Strong Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is encouraged to call 911.
