Police Identify Fatal Shooting Victim
Rochester Police have identified the victim of the city's first homicide of 2013.
They tell us Gregory Cooper, 24 of Rochester was shot several times in the torso on Roycroft Drive Monday afternoon.
Officers and a citizen attempted CPR before the victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say the suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving.
No word yet on what might have led to the fatal shooting.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may more information about this incident.
