Funeral Service for Blake Cognata Set for Thursday
A memorial mass will be held Thursday for the Fairport High School senior who passed away on Saturday after battling a rare form of cancer.
Blake Cognata, who would have turned 18 on Monday, had been battling Ewings Sarcoma since February.
A memorial mass is scheduled for Thursday, at 2:30 p.m. at St. John of Rochester Church in Fairport.
The service will also be broadcast only for students and their families at Fairport High School.
