Humane Society Investigating Dog Abandoned at Intersection
The Humane Society of Greater Rochester is asking for the public's help with information about an abandoned dog in Irondequoit.
Witnesses told police that an adult red pit bull mix was pushed out of a white van while locked in a crate at the intersection of Titus Avenue and Route 590 around 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Lollypop Farm said veterinarians who examined the dog found no immediate evidence of abuse.
