Plane Heading From Rochester to N.J. Skids Off Runway
A plane coming from Rochester skidded off the runway when it tried to land in New Jersey Sunday night.
Authorities say the plane's rear tires blew out as it landed in Newark causing it to veer off the runway.
The United Airlines Express plane slid to a stop without hitting anything.
None of the five crew members or eight passengers on board were hurt.
Authorities are not sure what caused the tires to blow.
