O'Flynn Sworn In As NYSSA President
Monroe County Sheriff' Patrick O'Flynn was sworn in Wednesday as President of the New York State Sheriff's Association.
O'Flynn was elected by fellow Sheriffs from across the state at the annual winter conference. He was sworn in by Lieutenant Governor Robert Duffy in Albany.
O'Flynn has been Monroe County Sheriff since May of 2001. Previously, he served as under-sheriff under his predecessor, Sheriff Andrew Meloni.
