The Fringe Fest Board of Directors has announced that the festival will begin on Thursday, September 19th and go until Saturday the 28th.

The "Fringe" will take place in about 20 downtown venues and artists can begin submitting applications February 11th.

33,000 people came out to last year's event to see acts like Bandaloop, dancing on the side of a 21 story building, and the Harlem Gospel Choir.

This year's headliners and the complete schedule will be announced at a later date.
