A prayer vigil was held Thursday night in Rochester in the memory of the city's second homicide victim of the year.

The vigil in support of Carl Brumfield's family was held to help those who have lost loved ones to violence in the city.

Family and friends gathered together to celebrate Brumfield's life, and gave support to those who have faced a similar tragedy.

"Carl was a real calm, nice, giving person, had a lot, a lot of friends. Everybody loved him," said Jacqueline Brumfield-Cook, Carl Brumfield sister.

Brumfield's family also described him as a person who just wanted to make people happy.
