Friday's storm left behind a real winter wonderland in the Rochester area and that fresh covering of snow brought out the locals to play.

Friday was all about the storm itself with parts of the city getting between eight and twelve inches of snow. Saturday however was the day to have some fun.

There was a line of cars at Cobbs Hill Park. Families were out sledding, having snowball fights and taking pictures. Everyone had a different sled, whether is be a store bought sled, a pool raft or a sled resembling Santa's sleigh.

Kids and parents agreed that it's a great way to get out and exercise.

Joshua Apron of Rochester talked about what it was like sledding as a kid, "I don't remember even feeling any of this, so it was awesome."

Local ski resorts in the area say they have opened additional ski trails.
