Pittsford Wegmans Evacuated After Refrigerant Leak
The Wegmans in Pittsford was evacuated due to a refrigerator leak.
The supermarket at the Pittsford Plaza was evacuated around 9:30 p.m. Monday. A spokeswoman for Wegmans says a contractor working on a refrigerator unit accidentally cut a line releasing refrigerant.
Customers and employees were evacuated and fire trucks brought in fans to clear the air.
