The Red Cross is providing housing for two adults and a child after an apartment fire in Orleans County Saturday evening.
Firefighters in Medina were called to a fire on the lower level of a two family apartment around 3 p.m.
The Fire Chief tells us the fire was contained to the front living room but much of the apartment was damaged by smoke and water.
The only person in the apartment was able to escape thanks to a working smoke detector.
