Jeremiah's Tavern was granted a conditional use permit to build a 6,500 square foot restaurant at 2614 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road.

The location is next door to Doodle Bugs. Some daycare parents say the restaurant is known to attract a bar crowd, and the two don't mix.

However, the board has granted business hours for Jeremiah's from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. because it is consistent with similar businesses in the area.

Indoor music has been approved, provided that it not be heard beyond their property lines. Outdoor entertainment will be permitted until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The final site plan has not yet been approved.
