Standoff in Hilton Ends With Arrest
A Hilton man was arrested following a standoff Wednesday on Parma Center Road

Thomas Bell, 42, was arrested after a standoff at his home that ended just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say Bell had four outstanding warrants for his arrest, including two from the town of Greece and two from Monroe County.

According to the Greece Police Department, the incident began when a woman called 911 saying her ex-boyfriend was coming to her house and intended to do her harm. Police tried to stop the man in his car, but he arrived and ran inside the house.

After talking to police negotiators, Bell surrendered peacefully.

Bell is in the Monroe County Jail on $55,000 cash bail or $80,000 bond.
