Thousands of Pounds of Sausage Recalled
Smithfield Packing Company is recalling 38,000 pounds of pork sausage.
The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service says the sausage may have pieces of plastic in it possibly from gloves.
Smithfield discovered the problem after consumer complaints. The products were sold in eleven states including New York and District of Columbia.
No injuries have been reported.
