Driver Indicted Following Fatal Crash

A Monroe County grand jury indicted a Hilton man following a December fatal crash in East Rochester.
Donald Love, 48, faces charges of manslaughter, reckless driving, failure to yield the
right of way and failure to keep right. Police said Love was speeding and drinking at the time of the crash.
Deputies said Love's pickup was traveling north on Washington Street when it went through a red light and struck an SUV heading west on West Linden Avenue.
The driver of the SUV, John Marcaitis, 53, of Fairport was pronounced dead at Strong Memorial Hospital. Marcaitis worked in the IT department at Monroe #1 BOCES in Fairport.
