Man Indicted for Stabbing Woman Inside Downtown Apartment

The grand jury also indicted a man for stabbing a woman inside a high-rise apartment on St. Paul Street last month.
Dennis McFadden, 47, was indicted on attempted murder and assault charges. Police say he stabbed Doreen Hildebrandt, 53, multiple times inside the Andrews Terrace Apartments January 29. She was found in the stairwell between the 18th and 19th floors. She's in satisfactory condition at Strong Hospital.
McFadden remains in the Monroe County Jail.
