The Rochester City School District has relocated its Student Placement Office in an effort to improve convenience for parents.
Superintendent Bolgen Vargas says the office will be moved from Martin Street to the
district's headquarters on West Broad Street.
Vargas says the move was made to encourage parents to register their children. The move comes with designated parking for parents.
"It's extremely important to be parent-friendly, but that we just don't say we are parent-friendly, but that we act accordingly," Vargas said.
The change in location is effective immediately.
Parents are also encouraged to register their child online. That process will get underway next month.
