RocMusic Program Holding First Performance
A unique partnership between Rochester's rich musical assets and the City School District will hold its first public performance Wednesday.
The RocMusic program was first announced last summer. 40 city school students have been taking lessons through the David F. Gantt Community Center.
Wednesday evening they'll use their new skills to perform traditional musical arrangements and pieces arranged specifically for the concert.
It begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Freddie Thomas Learning Center.
