New Habitat for Humanity House Dedication
Habitat for Humanity completed another house in Rochester and on Saturday.. it handed the keys to the new owner.
The new home on Eddy Street was dedicated to Sylvia Pardner and her two great-grandchildren.
She already has a history with the home. Pardner has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. She's put hundreds of hours into helping build other homes and she put 200 hours into her own house as well.
"This is the first time I've really really owned something and it's a project for me and my family," said Sylvia. "It's our home for the first time."
This is the 197th home built by Flower City Habitat for Humanity in Rochester.
